Meet Kathy Heath, BGAR's President and Executive Director!
This rescue has been a lifelong dream for her! She volunteers a great deal of time and although retired as a speech pathologist, has returned to work to help support the expenses of the rescue.
Becky Muirhead, BGAR Animal Coordinator
Becky is the Animal Care Coordinator at Beare Garden Animal Rescue. She is also a certified Vet Assistant. She and her husband have 10 very spoiled furbabies. "I feel blessed to be doing my dream job." Previously, she was a 1:1 Assistant for autistic children.
Kathy Dolde, Adoption Ambassador
Kathy is the Monday through Friday Adoption Ambassador at PetSmart in Greenville NC. She and her family have 8 cats, 4 dogs and 2 parrots. She started as a volunteer in 2023 and was previously a Registered Veterinary Technician. “Working for BGAR is the best job I’ve ever had.”
